Punk Goes Bride
Project made by me to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
This project consists of presenting a collection inspired by the punk movement for my brand of alternative brides and aimed at this specific group of brides (rockers and punks), who still do not identify with the alternative bridal style offered in the Brazilian market.
Throughout this project, studies were carried out on the first moment of the punk movement in Brazil; the influence of this style in fashion until today, as well as research on the public, market and competitors, in order to build a database for the construction of a collection and the positioning of the Punk Goes Bride brand.
Finally, I present the Caótica collection, which is named for bringing the aggressiveness of punk disruption to the bridal lull – tradition. As the first official collection of Punk Goes Bride, it consists of showing everything that the brand has to offer, from the concepts of modularity and the rupture of the single use of wedding dresses, in addition to the constant inspiration in the punk movement.
A coleção foi nomeada como Corais de algodão e vem com a ideia dos corais representados em formas, texturas e acabamentos desta coleção. Assim como pedido pelo concurso, todas as peças foram pensados tendo o algodão como a principal matéria prima.
No final um dos looks foi produzido e apresentado em um editorial.
